Chris Klatell is a principal of the Firm whose practice focuses on transnational litigation, international business transactions, First Amendment and civil rights litigation, intellectual property, and art law.
Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Klatell served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Robert D. Sack, United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. From 2000-02, he was an associate in the litigation department at Debevoise & Plimpton in New York. Mr. Klatell received his J.D. in 1999 from Yale Law School, where he was a Senior Editor of the Yale Law Journal. He obtained his B.A. summa cum laude with honors in History and Philosophy from Williams College in 1995.
Mr. Klatell is married to Fiona Doherty, a Federal Public Defender for the Southern District of New York. They have one daughter, Sophia.
